No Maharashtrian meal is complete without the refreshing Sol Kadhi. This delightful drink is a harmonious blend of kokum petals, coconut milk, and a hint of garlic and green chili.
Preperation Method of Solkadhi.
Step 1 :-
solkadhi is prepared by adding finely chopped onion, green chilly, coriander, salt to taste, water and kneading it into a smooth consistency. This versatile dough is then shaped into flatbreads and cooked on a griddle till golden brown.
Step 2 :-
Serve it hot or warm with some white butter (loni) or yoghurt/curd. You can also serve it with thecha or a pickle. During winter thalipeeth makes for a nice healthy and warming food.
